Once a Deal is created in MCA Suite, it will following the system generated stages as a part of the deal flow illustrated below:
When a Deal is created, it can either go to:
- Leads Stage where it requires the minimum set of information (i.e., only first name is required); or
- Applications Stage where the following fields are required:
- Amount Requested
- Company Name (Legal Name)
- DBA (Company "doing business as")
- First Name (Owner's)
- Last Name (Owner's)
A Deal goes from the Leads Stage to the Applications Stage when a merchant completes an application (or when a user fills one out on behalf of the merchant). A Deal can go from the Lead Stage to Decline when the merchant declines to proceed with the merchant cash advance (MCA) process.
While in the Applications Stage, the Deal can be in one of the following Sub-stages:
- Application with Submissions - when the application has been submitted to one or several Funders (companies funding the merchant cash advance) for review.
- Application with Offers - when the application received one or several offers from submissions to one or many Funders.
The Deal while in the Applications Stage can go to the Declined Stage when the merchant does not want to move forward or if the user decides the merchant does not qualify for a merchant cash advance or if it's rejected by a Funder.
When the merchant accepts an offer from a Funder, the user will select an offer from the Submissions page which will move the Deal to the Funded Stage.
