How Do I Track a Deal Source in MCA Suite?

MCA Suite allow our clients to capture and track where they received their lead for each Deal with the "Source Company" field. A "Source Company" could be a Broker/ISO, marketing agency or any other company you interact with to obtain leads as a source. 


From a system perspective, the "Source Company" field performs a search against existing contacts in your workspace to identify a Company to be the source of the lead. You must have a Company created in your workspace before you can associate a Deal with a Source Company. Refer to this article on how to create a Company. 


If your Source Company is a marketing agency, you should select "Other" as a contact type. If your Source Company is an ISO/Broker, you should select "Broker" as the contact type. 




A Deal can only be associated with ONE Source Company. Once you have associated a Source Company to the Deal, you can use the Deals page filters to view all the Deals you received from the Source Company (i.e., Landing Page Leaders is the Company responsible for bringing in the six deals below).





You can further track your Deal source by adding a Campaign to the Source Company. Refer to this article on how to setup a Campaign in your workspace.
