MCA Suite v2 Setup

After you have successfully registered and paid for your MCA Suite v2 workspace, follow the steps below to configure your workspace to support your operations: 


  1. MCA Suite organizes your Deals in "Stages" and you can customize your Deal Statuses to match your workflow. Here's an article explaining the difference between Stages and Statuses. MCA Suite provides you a list of Deal Status you. Refer to this link for detailed instructions on how to customize Deal Statuses for your workspace.

  2. MCA Suite can also help you managed your Submissions to one or multiple funders to help a merchant get funded. Similar to Deal Statuses, MCA Suite provides you a list of Submission Statuses which you can customize based on your workflow. Here's a link with detailed instructions to customize your Submission Statuses.

  3. Connect ONE of your email accounts to MCA Suite for you to send emails out to merchants and funders.

  4. After you have connected your Email account to MCA Suite, you can setup Email Templates in your workspace to provide a consistent communication message to merchants and funders. Here's a link for more details on how to setup Email templates.

    Data entered in MCA Suite can also be pulled and incorporated into your emails. Here's link on how to incorporate fields from MCA Suite into your email correspondences, and a link to include the fields into your Email templates.

    Here is a link to all the fields available in MCA Suite to be used in Emails and documents.

  5. The data entered in MCA Suite can be also be used to create documents such as merchant applications and contracts. Here's a link on how to upload document templates in your MCA Suite workspace and use fields from MCA Suite to create documents.

  6. If you wish to use MCA Suite's Funder Matching feature, you should create Industries and designate the deal/merchant to an industry. Here's a link for you to create industries in your workspace.

  7. For MCA Suite Funder Matching, you can modify your workspace's Funder Matching criteria, where you can select and unselect criterion that are important to your funders.

  8. You can setup Workspace Defaults such as "Permissions" and "Deal Naming Conventions." Here are links to modify Default Deal Permissions and Default Deal Name.

  9. You can setup "Tags" in your workspace to categorize your deals. Here is a link with instructions and benefits of setting up tags in your workspace.

  10. Campaigns can also be setup to allow you to track the source of your leads. Here's a link to setup Campaigns in your workspace.

  11. To create users, follow these steps to "invite" users to your workspace.

  12. After you have completed the steps above, we suggest you begin working in MCA Suite by adding Funders to your workspace. Here is a link to add Funders to your workspace.

  13. After adding your funders, here are steps to add your first Lead or add an Application to MCA Suite.

  14. When you have collected all the required documents from the merchant, you can submit the merchant to funders you have recently added to your workspace. Refer to this article on how to submit and track your deals.

  15. Once your merchant has been funded, here is a link to properly mark a deal as funded.

  16. You can also track commissions of your funded deal.
