How Do I Add a New Application?

An Application in MCA Suite is a Deal in the Application Stage. There are multiple ways to add an Application in MCA Suite:

1. Add from floating icons in MCA Suite;
   
2. Add from Contact page;
3. Convert a Deal from "Lead" to "Application";
4. Import from a spreadsheet;
5. Via addDeal API

This article will illustrate how to use the first three methods.

1.  To enter a Deal in the Applications Stage within MCA Suite manually, click the "Application" button on the right-hand sidebar:

A slide-out page will appear requesting the following required information to create an Application: 

1. Amount Requested;
2. Company Name;
3. DBA;
   
4. Owner's First Name;
5. Owner's Last Name

When you type the Company Name, MCA Suite will perform a lookup against your workspace database to identify any potential duplicates. 

You can choose an existing company to add the application to, or you can just create a new company. A use case for when you would select an existing company, is when an existing merchant is looking for a second cash advance. 

After all the information has been entered, the record can be saved by clicking on the "Save" button. 

2.  If you have permission to view the Contacts page, you can locate locate the Company you wish to add an application to by clicking the "Add Deal" icon from the Company Details page:

3.  Another way to add an Application to MCA Suite is to convert a Deal from a "Lead" to "Application." To use this methodology, users have two options from the Leads page:

a) From the Leads List page, find the Lead you want to work with, and click on the "Menu" button to display all menu options. Select "Add Application."

b) Or users can navigate to a specific Lead. From that Lead's Detail page, click on the "Menu" button to display all menu options. Select "Add Application."

When converting a Deal from the "Lead" to "Application" stage, users will need to complete the following fields (if the information has not already been captured during the Leads stage):

1. Amount Requested;
2. Company Name;
3. DBA;
   
4. Owner's First Name;
5. Owner's Last Name

Click the "Save" button to save the Application and complete this process.
