Yes! As an Administrator of your workspace, you can perform mass creation of Deals that are in the Lead or Application stage by using a comma-separated values (CSV) file.

1.  Creating the File

You can use Excel to create the CSV file with the following columns where the following fields are REQUIRED:  Company Name, Company DBA and Owner First Name

Header Column NameDescription (technical requirements)
Amount RequestedNumeric value of the merchant's requested cash advance amount
Company Name*REQUIRED field. Company's legal name with maximum character of 30
Company DBA*REQUIRED field. Company's "Doing Business As" name with maximum character of 30.
Company Date StartedDate of the Company with a format of MM-DD-YYYY. Import process will reject the record if it does not meet criteria.
Company EINCompany's Tax ID or EIN. Maximum characters for this field is 10.
Company Street 1Company's street address with maximum character of 30.
Company CityCompany's City in address field with maximum character of 30.
Company StateCompany's State in address field with 2 characters (state abbreviation). Import process will reject entire record with incorrect state abbreviations.
Company ZipCompany's Zip Code in address field with 5 digits.
Owner First Name*
REQUIRED field. Owner's first name with maximum character of 30.
Owner Last NameOwner's first name with maximum character of 30.
Owner Phone
Owner's phone number 1.
Owner Phone 2Owner's phone number 2.
Owner EmailOwner's email address.
Owner SSNOwner's social security number.
Owner DOBOwner's date of birth with a format of MM-DD-YYYY or MM-DD-YY. Import process will reject the record if it does not meet criteria.
Average Monthly Gross
The business's average monthly sales in number form
PermissionIf left empty, the import will set the Deal Permission to EVERYONE (open access). To restrict access permission of the Deal being imported, enter one or multiple email addresses of users you wish have access to the Deal. Email addresses must be separated by commas.
Assigned ToEnter one or multiple email addresses of users in your workspace to assign the Deal to the users. Email addresses must be separated by commas.

The required columns do not need to be in this exact order.

However, the import process requires the HEADER columns to be named as:  Company Name, Company DBA, Owner First Name, Owner Last Name, plus other column names as stated above. Otherwise, the column will be omitted during the import process.

Below is an example of a file you can create where columns A, B and C are required.

1.  You can assigned access permissions to users in your workspace. If left empty, the import process will set the access permission to be accessible by EVERYONE.

2.  You can assign Permissions and Assigned To to multiple users in your workspace as illustrated above.

3.  However you should be careful to avoid mismatches like this example as the assigned to user "mike@broker111.net" may not have access to the Deal after it has been imported.

Once you have your Deal data in the correct columns, you can use Excel's "Save As" function to save the file as a CSV file.

2.  Uploading the File

Once you have the CSV saved, you can locate the Administrative Tools button on the left side of your workspace:

When you are in the Administrative Tools page, click on the Import button which will take you to the Imports page:

From the Imports page, click on the Deals button to be taken to the Import Deals page.

On the Import Deals page, you can either drag and drop your CSV file into the blue area of the page OR click on "Select CSV File" which will bring up a window for you to select your file.

After you have selected your CSV file, click on the "Upload" button to send your CSV to MCA Suite.

After the file has been uploaded to MCA Suite, the screen below will be displayed where you would need to perform two tasks:

1.  Select a Deal Stage:  Lead or Application.

2.  Click on the "Proceed" button to finalize the upload.

Once the file has been processed, you will received a confirmation of the number of records that have been imported and which rows has been skipped due to errors.
